Instructors

Christina Duncan, Owner/Operator

With a twenty plus year history in fire dancing and flow arts, Christina played an integral role in building the Wichita fire dancing and burning man inspired community before opening Flow Foundry in 2014. She is a certified 200 hour Yoga instructor and holds additional certifications in Aerial Yoga, Yin Yoga and Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga. She completed Aerial Silks teacher training at Atlanta's Circus Arts Institute in 2015. She has a passion for sharing her talents as an instructor and performer.

Victoria Gardner, Lyra Instructor/Performer

Victoria is Wichita born and raised. She found weightlifting to be her main hobby and passion in college. She was inspired to try her first class after seeing Cirque Du Soleil and was in love at first hang. She has trained consistently since June 2022, fell in love with lyra (aerial hoop), performs regularly as a highlight act and is now completing beginners lyra teacher certification through Spin City. We call Victoria our "resident therapist" as she is a practicing clinician and an advocate for physical and mental health, having graduated from Emporia State with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She plans to continue her aerial training, teaching and performances while working as a therapist in our community and an instructor at WSU. It's an honor to have Victoria on our instructor team teaching lyra while she also accomplishes many other inspiring professional feats!

Kjersti Barney, Silks Instructor

Kjersti (Shur-stee) began training in circus arts in 2015. She has trained with several studios and artists in Utah, California, and Alaska prior to her move to Kansas. Her preferred apparatuses are aerial silks and pole, but she also enjoys hammock, lyra, and the occasional dabbling in something new. Kjersti had competed in Aerialympics, and performed at a number of events, including the West End Festival, the Grand Opening of Synergy Studios, and the showcases of Ms Tryss Boutique. Kjersti began her teaching career in the spring of 2021. She became a certified yoga instructor in 2023 and continually strives to improve in her abilities as an instructor and a student in the aerial arts. She is very excited to teach aerial classes at Flow Foundry and looks forward to encouraging and empowering her students.
